Hello everyone!
I pray that as you read through our blog posts, you're able to see a beautiful glimpse of what God is doing our lives, firstly as disciples, then as missionaries!
The Lord called us into missions at a very young age, and our passion has only grown and developed since then!
We have served overseas for year-long stints, and we are currently missionaries in the United States with Adventures in Missions! If you'd like to know more details about our time overseas and how the Lord was moving, please reference past blogs.
In building a support team, it is important to us to follow the models Jesus gave in Acts 13 (the Holy Spirit and the church of Antioch send Paul and Barnabas) as well as Matthew 10:1-15 (Jesus sends the twelve apostles). In both of these passages, God calls those who are to be sent (Paul, Barnabas; the twelve), as well as those who send (the church of Antioch; those in worthy homes). He unites these two groups under one mission: to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and to teach them to obey all [He] has commanded (Matthew 28:19).
As a missionaries, our role in the Great Commission is to be sent, and therefore, we call on the Church as a whole to follow the model God gave in the above passages and to be a part of what God is doing through prayer and financial support! Both of these are incredibly valuable and crucial parts of building the Kingdom, and if you feel led to be part of our team in these ways, here are the ways in which you can pursue that!
